After the success of the previous conferences dedicated to Diabetes, the scientific committee of Targeting Diabetes Society decided to organize the Second Middle East Practical Diabetes Meeting which will be held at Royal Scientific Society of Amman, Jordan in May 2-3, 2018, under the Patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, the President of Royal Scientific Society.
Why a meeting dedicated to diabetes and its practical dimension?
Today diabetes complications need an urgent multi-disciplinaries Taskforce. Middle East Practical Diabetes Meeting is a multi-disciplinaries platform dedicated to all healthcare professionals, specialists and political institutions covering all aspects of diabetes care, preventing, Diagnosis, recent advances and innovations including type 1 and type 2 diabetes, obesity, neuropathy, retinopathy, kidney, liver and cardiovascular complications, depression, sexuality and accelerated aging.
We will highlight all new innovations, new insulins, new non invasive markers, new drugs, guidelines and policy issues and a particular attention will be dedicated to diabetes complications.
Middle East Practical Diabetes Meeting will cover the updated practical knowledge, why, when, and how to use the latest technologies and innovations. The world meeting will be divided in different sessions:
- Session 1: Diabetes in 2018: recent advances & perspectives
- Session 2: Diabetic Neuropathy in 2018
- Session 3: Diabetes Foot Infections in 2018
- Session 4: Diabetes, hormones & depression
- Session 5: Diabetes 2018 innovations
Short Oral Communications
The scientific committee will select ten short communications to be presented during the workshops.
